My ancestor Eli Lockwood ELKINS was born 1909 in Selkirk
I have a photograph of him with his parents taken about 1914 at Selkirk. His father Jeremiah James Elkins was killed in1917. From 1914 until 1937 when Eli appeared at Binfield Berkshire England I have no knowledge of his life or how his mother Mary Elkins fared. Eli died at Binfield in 1982.
An English workmate said Eli ( Jock) spoke wih a Scottish accent so Eli seems to have been brought up in Scotland.
Any information or places to look would be much appreciated.
