Title: Thomas Stevenson - Clergyman Roscrea, Bourney West
Post by: kentishkiwi on Friday 08 March 13 22:55 GMT (UK)
I have checked the Crockford's directory and Thomas disappears after 1915/16 so I presume he died.
I am hoping someone may have some information about Thomas, when he died and possibly where he is buried. Also if anyone has any information on him at all it would be great. He was born in Armagh in about 1847 but am hopeful there may be answers in Tipperary.

Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

For reference, here's Thomas Stevenson in 1911-

and here he is 10 years earlier in Wexford-

and here's the marriage of Thomas to Jeanie Frazer Price-

This is great. Both lots of info good. Thanks a lot.
Since posting tonight I have found Jeannie's death. 7th July 1941, Dublin. I see there is a will in  England as well as one in Ireland. Something to follow up. I didn't really think of looking further afield which is rather short-sighted on my part as my family is spread far and wide!!!

I have also posted on the Armagh section as I am trying to prove the connection to my great grandfather William James Stevenson.

Thanks again.

There was only 1 Will for Jane Frazer Stevenson- because she had property in England (could merely be stocks) part of the estate was probated in Llandudno (London Registry Office relocated here during War).

Thanks for the bit about the wills . Thought it was a bit strange. I notice the amounts are different on the two notices. If I wanted to purchase a copy, is it better to get a copy of the Irish one shown on the Archives website or doesn't it make any difference?

I would check the Irish one since that is where she resided and the bulk of her estate would have been dealt with.
