Title: Polish Records now free on Familysearch
Post by: JenClark on Thursday 14 March 13 10:31 GMT (UK)
Not sure if this has been posted or not yet, but a fellow researcher just brought to my attention that the Polish records on the LDS Familysearch site are now accessible outside the library for free online:

To see the records included:

https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/list#page=1&countryId=1927187

They include:

Poland, Częstochowa Roman Catholic Church Books, 1873-1948
Poland, Gliwice Roman Catholic Church Books, 1599-1976
Poland, Lublin Roman Catholic Church Books, 1784-1964
Poland, Radom Roman Catholic Church Books, 1587-1966
Poland, Tarnow Roman Catholic Diocese Church Books, 1612-1900

Not everything is there yet, but the LDS are negotiating with the archives so more may appear soon, I think these have only been available for a few weeks.

Happy searching :)
