anyone have any info re Thomas Grimes born 1831 in Tyrone Ireland ....married Mary from Cavan Ireland...have details re UK but know nothing of the Irish side...

Hi   yes probably..but as the Grimes family have been resident in Durham since at least the 1860's i thought that might be a good place to start..

Thomas Grimes was my 2nd Great Grandfather. I have also traced the family back to Ireland but got no further. There has been information passed through my family regarding their life in Ireland.

Has anyone found any further information
