Title: Andrew Crosbie dob abt 1781

Trying to find information on Andrew Crosbie his wife was Mary Kerr. children were
Margaret  dob 1827 Colvend, Kirkcudbrightshire. Robert dob 1829 Colvend, Andrew dob 1834 Colvend, Jean dob 1837, Thomas dob 1837, William dob 1841, Charles dob  1832,  these are from Family Search they Farmed at Plumbhole Farm Colvend. trying to find more information on Andrew before he married Mary Kerr,  Margaret is my Great Grand Mother. any help would be great thank you.       Celia  :)

Hi

The 1841 shows him as aged 60 - birthyear 1781 b Kirkcudbrightshire.  Mary was only 38

Ages were rounded down to the neares 5yrs in 1841 so he could be between 60-64

Thanks CaroleW, i was trying to go futher back ,I have try ed Scotlands people but no luck. I,m with Ancestry and no luck there any Ideas???.   Celia :)

Nothing on Family Search or on the OPR's on Scotlands People.  As he died in 1844 - it's unlikely you will get anything useful from his death cert but it may be worth having a look at it just in case
