My Great Grandmother Jane Heath died in 1906 in Coalville. She was a Catholic who was born in Ireland. I'm having trouble working out where she might be buried. Any ideas?
Thank you
Ian

Hi Mike,
I haven't logged in here very much for at least a year, and you've actually helped me before with other questions.
Thank you once again.
I visited Coalville once a few years ago and found a few graves but not Jane's. I have just emailed the church to ask if there is a gravestone.
Although I have posted here in the past, I am still very new to genealogy. Which resource did you use to find this information?
I am now in a position to subscribe to a genealogy resource website, but don't know which one would be best.
Would you mind looking for her husband William, I know he died after her. They lived in Melbourne Street, which I thought was Coalville; is it actually Hugglescote?

Thanks again Mike, you always come up Trumps for me.
Well now I'm puzzled; I heard back from the church and there's no burial ground at the church. The Rev'd suggested the Baptist burial ground in Grange Road, Hugglescote, so I made contact with the Baptist Minister and there's no record of either of them there. Does the reference you gave me mean that that is where the funeral was held? If I'm correct, the only other cemetery is the one on is it Midland Road?
Where do you find the information Mike? Is it a CD, because I think I need to get one.

I notice mention on this thread of a Midland road. Midland road runs between Hugglescote and Ellistown but there is no cemetery on it. The other cemetery in Hugglescote is off Dennis street. It became disused and somewhat overgrown but it has been tidied up in the last year or two by volunteers, from what I have read on local groups. There was talk of doing a cemetery audit but I'm not sure if it has been done.
