Title: The History and Description of Leeds Castle – St Leger pedgree
Post by: grantleydawn on Sunday 07 April 13 22:39 BST (UK)
I have downloaded a copy of “The History and Description of Leeds Castle” by Charles Wykeham Martin (1869) from google books.

Unfortunately, the pedigree chart of ‘Stemmata St. Leodegaria’, that followed page 156, is only partially reproduced.

Can anyone please help me to get a copy of the entire chart (or just the missing folds).

Regards
Grantley

I dont know if you have tried putting Page 156 in the search box on left hand payne . The result gives the pedigree sheet  in two halfs the left side above the right .

Thankyou grandarog, but that doesn't appear to be my answer.

It appears that the pedigree chart folds out to 4 pages and only the middle 2 pages appear in the scanned version.

Sorry ,I didn't realise  :-[.I thought you had only found half the page. Try your local Library they will be able to source a hard copy of the book for you .Hoprfully that will be intact with the fo;d out pages. :)

Thankyou for the suggestion, but I live in South Australia and there isn't a copy available in our library system.

The nearest is in Sydney, which is a loooong drive.

That is why I have resorted to ask for help on Rootschat.

There are a few copies in the Kent Library system https://kent.spydus.co.uk/cgi-bin/spydus.exe/MSGTRN/OPAC/BSEARCH

I would suggest contacting Folkestone or Tunbridge Wells Library to see if they'd copy it for you (probably depending on the condition of the book given it's age I would guess) http://www.kent.gov.uk/KCC.Libraries.Web.Sites.Public/Default.aspx

I really don't remember, but I have done a lot of work on that family. I will send you a Personal Message with my email address. I may be able to help you further.

Thanks Hallmark, this is the top 1/2 of the tree  It is a beautifully clear version and I'm very grateful to have it.

If anyone happens to find the bottom half, let me know!  :)

Wouldn’t it be worth emailing the Getty? To see if the other bit is in their copy and missed being photographed.

Hello LeannePryce! There is a tree on line in Wiki Tree.  This one has a fairly new innovation for WikiTree in that they show this St. Leger family along with DNA links.  In this case, it may definitely be worth your checking it out! patrexjax
