We have just been given some great info from other rootschatters regarding another topic in another forum. But this info has now lead us down another path and we would like info if possible from the '61 to '91 census (possibly in Ludlow) regarding ALL mentions of the family name BURSNELL in the area. We can then try to form an extended tree.

Are you referring to Bursnalls b.in Ludlow? or just living in Ludlow ?

We are really after a blanket search of Bursnells living in Ludlow in those years......then we hope to form the names into family trees. We dont know at this stage exactly who we are looking for, hence the blanket search. :-\ Sorry about being a bit vague.

Use FreeBMD to get a feel for the numbers involved .... and the census to help with individual families.

Why are you looking for Bursnalls if you don't know who you are looking for??
You must have at least one name - otherwise how are you going to connect?
or are you just doing a one name study ??

Lostris just reminded me.... We were given info on Elizabeth Bursnell 59 and Elizabeth Bursnell 18....both on 1881 census for Ludlow....so I guess we are trying to build family info around those two.

Caroline Bursnell has been mentioned on another of your posts -and you have some replies on your duplicate post - her mother was Elizabeth??? She was age 54 on 1871 census b Ludlow -is this the Elizabeth you are looking for????

Only info we have is 1881 census ...Elizabeth aged 59 and daughter Caroline aged 18. Caroline ends up in Worcester as other rootschatters have shown me. Am now trying to find Caroline's birth details and details of her family to form a tree as her birth does not show up on Free bmd
