He'll,
Have you not checked Free BMD for the marriage? It is there so you could send for the certificate.

Has a Mark Toole with parents Thomas and Mary in Newcastle.

I think the family are Tully

This looks a likely contender because the other mark Tooles were born too late to be married in 1911 but as Heywood says the marriage certificate is needed to be sure

many thanks for that allways thought mark toole may have came from Ireland but that does not seem the case and didn't relies he was in the army this gets better any chance of a maiden name for his mother regards David.
-
Hi David,
It's all going well. As you say, strong possibility of Ireland which could prove less easy.
You do need certificates to make sure but Free BMD has a likely marriage.
http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl. - it is a free site for indexes and it's great to find your relatives. :)
You can also view 1881 census for free on Family Search.
If you need more details, there is always help here.

many thanks heywood regards david

Just to say that crisane's post should read 1891 - not 1901. It's the right reference just the wrong year.
They are Tully in 1901 and Thomas is a pedlar by then.
-
having trouble getting 81 census on family search thanks heywood ,david
-
Yes I can see what you mean ::)
I'll have a look. :)

https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/X3R7-F5Q
But they are not that consistent with names and ages!
-
I now can't identify the likely marriage I thought so I would recommend Mark's birth certificate to identify mum. sorry :(
-

Thanks heywood. I was doing it in a hurry before taking a friend to garage sales :)

Morning crisane,
It took a while for me to realise that 2 year old Mark couldn't be married in 1911 - then it dawned. As I said, I was sure I saw a possible marriage but - no not now ::)
I will try again later.
