This is a really long shot but I am trying to find out if the Steel family in Kingsley/Cheadle area is linked to the steel family in Wybunbury/Weston area in Cheshire all around c 1650-1780 time scales.
I have John Steel in Weston with several children born c 1736-1751 in Wybunbury and John is a Yeoman of Weston/ wybunbury.
I also have John Steel and his wife Margery in Kingsley nr Chealde, staffs with 2 daughters and 5 sons all born c 1700-1720.
Any help no matter how small would be really appreciated!
