The above is shown on 1911 census at 66 Villa Street, Walworth, son of Robert Edward Norman Sennett and his 1st wife, Mabel Kentfield nee Tilbury.
However I cannot find a birth or baptism for him.
There are Electoral Registers for a Charles Sennett from 1926 up to 1939 showing him living with Charlotte Emily-his step mother and in 1939 even his sister Christabel b1914 is living with them at 60f New Kent Rd.
I wonder if his first name wasn't actually Charles but still can't find a birth around that time at Walworth.
Help please. ???

Unless I've missed it - I can't see a birth reg for daughter Mabel Violet either although there is a baptismal record.
Did he re-marry to his sister in law?

Anc* have the birth reg. in the year 1915.

Yes he did marry his sister in law Charlotte Emily. I suppose it happens in some families even these days.

Could Charles have been born a Tilbury ,there is a Charles Tilbury born around the right time in Lambeth.

It seems unlikely, the only Charles Tilbury I can find was b1905 and d 1972?

Hi. I know this is an old post, but I came across it and wanted to respond. RE: Charles Sennett born 1907. He is the 1/2 brother of Robert Edward Sennett and Mabel Violet Sennett and a full brother to Christabel Sennett. He is the son of Robert Edward Norman Sennett and Charlotte Kentfield Tilbury. Robert Edw Norman Sennett was first married to Mabel Kentfield Tilbury, but she passed away leaving him with two young children and he married her sister, Charlotte and they had two children, Charles (named after his mother) and Christabel. I am a direct descendant of Robert Edw Norman Sennett and Mabel Kentfield Tilbury. Cheers! :)
