Hi WelshScotsman, the only Richard and Mary Roberts I can find in the 1881 census are living at Cambrian House in Llanberis, aged 32 and 39, There is also a neice called Grace Jones aged 10. Richard is a slate Quarryman and his wife a shopkeeper. Have you got any dates to add to the above?

Hi WelshGen
Richard Roberts b 1871 (Great Grandfather)
Mary Roberts (nee Parry) b 1872 (Great Grandmother)
William J Roberts b 1868 (Great Grandfather)
Annie Roberts (nee Phillips) b 1879 (Great Grandmother)
Richard Roberts above as far as i know father also Richard was born 1839 Llanfwrog Angelsey.
William J Roberts father was John Roberts b 1852 Llanberis.
But any details appreciated on The Roberts of Llanberis

There is only one Richard Roberts for that birth date and in Llanrug.
He was living at Tyn Y Radd (I think this address has been translated wrong as I would have thought it should be Tyn Yr Ardd).
The parents are Richard aged 39 born in Llanrug (a quarryman) and Lydia aged 37 born in Llanrug. There are also two other children Jane 13 and Mary 11 also born Llanrug.
I will look for any other relatives later.
