The steps to search for a Natal Marriage are as follows:
1. Open FamilySearch website (https://familysearch.org/)
2. Click "Search"
3. Under "Browse all Published Collections" click "Africa"
4. Under "Historical Record Collections" on left menu under
"Collections" click "Birth, Marriage & Death"
5. On next page also entitled "Historical Record Collections" click
the 9th row "South Africa Natal Province Civil Marriages 1845-1955"
The URL address for this page is:
https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/2063749
6. The page which opens gives you the ability to "Search Collection"
To test, I entered "Hazel Beryl ABBEY" clicked "Marriage" and clicked "Search"
7. Only 1 Result was found
8. Click on the underlined Hazel Beryl ABBEY (in red).
9. The next page shows the record about the Marriage.
10. On the right of the page is a button "." Click it.
11. Voila! The certificate is found on the film which is also searchable.

Yay at last! It has been complete for a number of years. I actually checked a couple of days ago to see if it was on.
-
Thank you so much for that information. I've just downloaded a lot of Archbell marriages, and my friend in Howick is over the moon!!! Thanks again from both of us. :D :D
-
Derek you have made my day , you are the best !
-
Only a pleasure but thanks must go to Eleanor in Durban who passed this info to me.
-
maybe my post should have read "Eleanor in Durban you made my day " !
-
"Ditto" ;D
Just as an afterthought - are there any plans to add baptisms and burials?
Not that I'm not grateful for what we do have, BUT ::) ::)
-
Yes, many thanks to you, Derek and 'Eleanor in Durban' for that news. I have tried it out and found a few marriages that I expected but failed to find one or two as well. Can you outline what exactly this dataset, rather different probably from a UK one, represents please?

Apparently a small percentage of marriages still have to scanned and added. Unfortunately the person responsible is unwell and is unable to do them.

Derek,
Thank you for that.

I really must add my thanks to this one.
I had a name I knew absolutely nothing about which I got from his fathers death notice. Didn't even know what year he was born and voila have now found a marriage for him!
Fantastic that has made my day :)
Added have found two more from the same family with extra details.
No parents name shown on these certificates is that usual?

What a fantastic site! So easy to use and rich in content. Only one marriage certificate I couldn't find but I found my Gran's sister. I was beginning to think she didn't exist so many, many thanks! Hope you get better soon (I see the transcriber has not been well). :)

I've just joined RootsChat and this post has ALREADY made this more than worthwhile!!
Already found two ancestors marriages in a matter of seconds!

So thrilled when I read that marriage details are available for Natal. Especially delighted to find my husband's father's sister - okay, his aunt!! - because we had absolutely no info on her bar her name, and the year she died. I had a name for her husband, which turned out to be completely wrong anyway, so now all that is sorted. Thanks so much.
I have another question. When do you think we'll be able to access the records from the Churches in the Transvaal? I tried, but all I ended up with was a black screen. I'm desperately trying to find information on my dad's side of the family. Also, births from the old Orange River Colony, particularly Bloem.
Thanks again, you're a star. :)

Had another browse on family search yesterday and found baptisms for 4 children I never knew about before. Not only that but you can view and print the actual image brilliant. Love this site :)

May I offer readers a HINT:
Save your preferred URL address in some off line, safe area.
Try as I may, I simply can-not connect to any of these pages from the front door of the FamilySearch(dot)com website. I've even sought help from the websites help facility, but I have yet to make a successful hit after signing in. I find it necessary to overwrite one or other of the above URL addresses, into the appropriate field at the top of the page.
