Hi, i,m in such of the parents and Sib's of George Bland Mawby bn 1839 poss Walton Leics. George married Elizabeth York bn 1843 in 1860. Any help on this matter would be greatly received thanks

so far further research is proving that the family from walton in knaftoft is the one i need but thanks for the help all

A simple solution to the problem i.e. his baptism on familysearch:
George Bland Mawby bp.25/11/1838 Kimcote & Walton, son of William and Priscilla.
So far I've not found William and Priscilla in 51/61 but in 1871 in Walton, and 1881 in Kimcote & Knaptoft.
Priscilla bc.1809 d.1882 Lutterworth.

From familysearch/census siblings seem to be:
John bc.1830/1831
Joseph bp.2/3/1834 Kimcote & Walton
Elizabeth Bland bp.22/5/1836 ditto

William bc.1844/1845 Walton
The 1841 census ref. posted by Keyboard slightly wrong - should be 598 not 518.
Now found William and Priscilla in 1851 and 1861.
1851 - transcribed as Maloley (??) - they are in Knaptoft - ref. HO107 - 2078 - 523 - 11.
1861 - transcribed as Mundy - in Kimcote (transcription real mess with Priscilla noted as 'Butler') - ref. RG9 - 2246 - 29 - 14.
I think that William was married twice.
Eldest child was a John and he was baptised in a non-conformist church:
John Mawby b.2/4/1830, bp.3/8/1830 Ind., Lutterworth, Leicestershire son of William and Dorcas.
William Hawby (?) married Dorcas Hallam 13/11/1829 Lutterworth, Leicestershire. Suspect that Dorcas died and William remarried to Priscilla although can't trace this marriage. (Perhaps her maiden name was Bland).
