Thanks to the Moretonhampstead historical society site http://www.moretonhampstead.org.uk I think I have found out the origin of the Schindehutte part of the name of Maria Elsie Shindehutte Parker who was born in Camberwell in 1902.
According to the 1911 census she was the daughter of John Antone Shindehutte Parker who was aged 46 in 1911. (I have confirmed that at least 3 of her siblings carried the Shindehutte name and I suspect that all 7 did.) This fits nicely with the record of Johannes Schindehutte's son John Antoine Schindehutte Parker given on the site mentioned except for the age difference.
Can anyone help fill the generation gap please?

Marriage
Peckham St Mary
3 Sept1894
John Antone Schindelcitte Parker , bachelor, of the parish of Camden,to Bessie Martha Carpenter, spinster of this parish.
If you get a copy of the cert, it will give his fathers name. Unfortunately, I could only see the Banns, plus a note in the margin saying 'married 3 Sep', online.

John A S Parker
Birth cert would give his parents names

Thank you very much for the progress thus far. The age of Maria's father John makes more sense in the previous census returns as I'd deduced he was born in 1866.
Cheers
Phil
