My grandmother Elizabeth Clarke was born 14 Sept. 1900 in Liverpool. Her parents were William Edward Clarke born 2 July 1865 in Ramsey and Margaret Kenale born in Jurby 24 Sept. 1865. She had 6 siblings: Alfred Henry, John William, Robert Charles, Annie Mona, Edwin Douglas and Winifred Clarke. In 1911 the Family moved from Liverpool back to IOM. Does anybody know what happened to Elizabeth Clarke after 1923? She was not married when my mother was born. Did she marry in IOM? When did she die?

Thanks for your reply. I had a look but understand that you have to pay to be able to searce. From another source I have learned that an Elizabeth Clarke did marry in 1937. What might my next step be?

On imuseum.co.im, you only have to pay for searches of newspapers.
Click on Explore Family History.
www.manxbmd.com has a marriage in 1937 for Elizabeth Clarke, at the Registry Office, Douglas.
Click on "Useful Links" on that site, where you can see a link for ordering certificates, from The General Registry, Isle of Man.
