I am interested in hearing from anybody who would be willing to look up Gwendoline Davies (nee. Davies) and or David John Davies of 30 Grant Street in Llanelly (lived at that address in 1946). They are my paternal grandparents, but are deceased. I've never been in contact with my father, and recent attempts to contact him have not been successful, so I'm unable to speak to him to find out more - * All I know of my grandparents is from my father's birth certificate, so the only other thing I know is that David John Davies worked as a labourer in the steel works (I'm assuming this would be Trostre steel works..?).
If anybody can find ANYTHING on the above mentioned names I'd be really grateful - I'm quite a beginner at this family tree stuff and I wouldn't have a clue on how to look this kind of thing up myself!
