I could really do with some help as I have come to a standstill researching Isabella Gordon b Aberlour/Glenrinnes/Lochlanderloch (1859). I have census information from 1861/71/81, and can trace her family and siblings back quite extensively. In 1881, as an unmarried mother she gave birth to Kathleen Gordon, my direct relative who was then adopted very soon after. I am trying to find out about Isabella Gordon after 1881 and can find no further reliable information at all. If she married I can find no trace of who/where this might be, so would appreciate a clue or pointer into where to go next?
