Perhaps you need some information on the board so any possible relatives can identify your family. There are a couple of John POLLOCK's in NSW in the same era.
Is this your family
Marriage - no E on BROWN
2930/1872
POLLOCK John
BROWN Margaret

I would suggest purchasing transcript of this cert if you haven't done already. Details of his age and parents' names including his mother's maiden name would be helpful.

Patricia you state on a previous thread that this is the death of your ancestor who was born Dundee.

A little more about the surfing accident at Kiama - John went to his wife's aid but succumbed to a heart attack and she was rescued but in a critical condition http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article101174387
Well various mentions of Pollock family in Kiama - probably not all your family http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper/result?q=%22pollock+kiama%22~8
regards,
Ros

Just adding to the death of the John POLLOCK in the surfing accident, there is mention of a 13 year old daughter who raised the alarm.
The last birth listed for John and Margaret is in 1886.
A search of BDM lists for NSW shows a number of female births to father John POLLOCK and mothers of various names, but not Margaret.

Attempting to move you on in your quest for descendants, one of the sons of your couple married
Reg 6174 In 1899 POLLOCK Patrick
To HARKEN Alice
At MORUYA
A search of the online index will show you their children to 1912. (including a son John J. ;D)
Additionally to this couple -
1913, POLLOCK, Emily M. #19162 at MORUYA
1915. POLLOCK, Emily I. #40190 at MORUYA

and up to his father John http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?op=GET&db=monaropioneers&id=I89146
(no 13 year old daughter's there either :( )

I doubt this is the correct John's death as his wife Margaret would have been well past child bearing years to have given birth to a dau c1900. She was baptised in 1842.
I do find it strange that there are ten public trees alone on ancestry and no mention of John James's parents. Surely one of the researchers would have purchased a marriage or death certificate. Probably been copied from each other anyway.
It would have been helpful if the OP had been a little more forthcoming with information as we have no idea of what research she has done.
I can't identify either John or Margaret on the NSW 1903 electoral roll.

It was John James and Margaret's son who died in 1913 according this person's research. Perhaps John was known as James :-\

There are also POLLOCK's on the 1903 electoral roll at Nerrigundah. Alfred John, Alice Mary, David, David Alexander and Margaret Hiddle. It is a different family. Chn's births commence at 1856 to James and Margaret and include of names on the electoral roll.

There are no John POLLOCK's deaths in the Moruya district so is it possible he was ill and placed in an institution.

It was my silly suggestion Sue ;D. Just a wild shot as I thought it could have been overlooked as he died away from home. But yes have since found lots of references to the Pollock family at Nerrigundah and there aren't any of the wanted ones (other then lots of James)

Pat you have probably realised that the John James POLLOCK who died in 1913 is the son of John James POLLOCK who was born in Dundee.
Whose death cert are you intending to purchase?
Remember you can purchase transcriptions in New South Wales.
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/bdm_fh.html#transcription
As Ros mentioned don't hesitate to ask for help if you need it.
Cheers
