Title: logan family
Post by: casa on Thursday 19 December 13 11:43 GMT (UK)
Hi I am new here and would like to make contact with anyone researching the Logan family from this area.
I have traced back as far as great great grandfather William Logan born 1885 in Limerick, he married Jane Henderson 1855 in Draine.
Son John Logan is great grandfather, married Jessie McKay 1876.
One of their sons George Gordon Logan 1887, married Elizabeth Hay Mcwilliams 1908.
I have so far found 4 children of this marriage, Elizabeth Mcwilliams, John Gordon Logan, Daniel Logan and William George Logan.I think there were more, possibly a James or Dick?
William George Logan is my husbánds father. I have no more info. re his siblings.

I don't know if you are aware of these threads on Rootsweb (or maybe they're yours!!) but it seems to concern the same family of Logans

There are a Daniel, George & William Logan  listed in the Morayshire Roll of Honour with the parents John Logan & Jessie McKay. It's available online at
