Post by: maryanne on Sunday 29 December 13 18:38 GMT (UK)
Edwin Beare, Ernest Beare,Garfield Beare and John Henry Beare all appear on the Ludgvan war memorial .
I hope that someone can point me in the right direction for information about these men particularly
Garfield Beare. I have access to FindMyPast but can't find anything there.

Thanks for that Romilly.
Garfield that I am interested in was the son of Henry and Elizabeth Jane Beare. He was Charles Garfield Beare and he had a brother called Fred Garnet Beare. Their father Henry was a brother to James Beare who is my branch.
In FindMyPast I have found that Garnet and Garfield attended the funeral of their mother in 1937.
The link you posted is probably related to my lot somwhere and I shall look into that.
