Could some one with local knowledge check the place of abode for me,
it is for  my Great great Grandfather,

I suspect it is Penzance.

March 29th 1851
Richard Trannack Hitchens Colenso, aged 22, bachelor, shipwright of,..............
father John Colenso, shipwright,
Mary Rowe ,aged 22 , spinster of Gulval,
father James Rowe , a gardener,

You can see the image for yourself if you like (but I think it says Penzance).

Go to

www.familysearch.org

click on Search
click on UK and Ireland (towards the bottom of the page)
from the alphabetical list, against England, Cornwall and Devon Parish Registers 1538-2010, click on browse images
click on Cornwall
find Gulval on the list and click on it
click on Marriages 1837-1882
then to go p.97 (of 253) and there it is!

I have the image thanks, it was the abode I wanted to be sure he stated Penzance, it looked like a Y  in the middle, thanks for looking,

The image I was pointing you to was the original, rather than the Bishop's Transcript, so has original signatures on it etc.
