Title: Is this Jamestown
Post by: HOUSE2000 on Wednesday 22 January 14 10:35 GMT (UK)
This is a photo of my Dad, John McAdam, taking part in a "Ploughing Match" in the 1920-30's. I think the photo was taken in Jamestown with the Printworks in the background. Can anyone confirm this and also tell me if this is still a field or has it been built on? Thank you.

Thank you for the links - I'll have a look.

I can make out some of the details stamped on the back of the photo.

James .....ell, Auburn. Press Photographer. (Could possibly be Mitchell)

Thank you.
