Title: Is anyone going to Kendal RO. 2 lookups.
Post by: Jeffrey on Monday 10 February 14 14:52 GMT (UK)
Dear List,
Is anyone going to the Kendal Records Office. If so I wonder if you could look up two Baptisms for me please.

Thomas Richardson bap 1825 + or - one year. Warcop Parish Westmorland
William Richardson bap 1797 Morland Westmorland. I have a William who was born & died 17th Sep 1796. I was wondering if there was another one born just after. For the rest of 1796 up to and including 1799.

I would be most grateful for these if possible.

Thank you.

Judy

Thanks for your reply.

Yes I am aware of those however I was wanting a look-up in the Original PR's as these are more reliable.

Thanks

I now have the information. For anyone who may be interested in this family below are the entries.

Bap: April 15th 1825 Thomas son of Henry and Betty Richardson; Bleatarn, Yeoman

Burials
August 11 1795 William son of Thomas Richardson of White Stone in Sleagill and Peggy his wife, an infant
Sept 18 1796 William son of Thomas Richardson of White Stone in Sleagill and Peggy his wife.  an infant . This is mixed with the Baptisms but usually  means a burial when naming 'an infant'.

I just wonder if this is my man!

Would appreciate a bit of guidance  please.
