Title: Frank and Annie COOPER
Post by: Herbie56 on Monday 10 March 14 20:51 GMT (UK)
Hello everyone, I am trying to find info on my grandfather/mother. My Grandfather Frank was a carpenter at the Empire theatre. they lived on Stancer Syreet at Brightside Bierlow. I would like to know where they hail from? My uncle told me they came from Loxley way. but I can't find any info of this.
Where did they marry? that would be a good start. thanks in advance. ???

See what the moderators say.  Didnt mean to break any rules, they can edit or delete if i've given too much information.   I made sure I left out the number of children, years married and other details.  :)

Freebmd has a marriage in 1888 which has a Frank Cooper & Annie Clayton on the same page

December qtr 1888 Wortley    9c 357

Can you give some info as to the names of their children etc to help pin down a 1901 entry

Frank was 67 when he died in 1936.
Annie was also 67 when she died in 1938.
I am also having conflict with my grandmother Maud;s birth year. I have it as 1896,cant seem to find it on free BDM.

No other birth reg for a Maud Cooper in Sheffield but you could always use her brothers to establish Annie's maiden name

Births June qtr 1892

There is also an 1888 marriage in Sheffield for a Frank Cooper but spouse is Sarah Ann Strickland
