Hi all!
I would very much like someone's help in tracing the date of death of an ancestor of mine. Her name was Ann(e) Morris.
I know she died between 1851 and 1861, and on both census returns for those years her husband Samuel Morris lived in Kinnersley (which is in Weobley reg. district), so I assume that's where she died too.
A look on FreeBMD reveals 3 possibilities at least (the third of which I would discard as the middle name suggests it's someone else):
Deaths Sep 1852
Morris Ann Weobley 6a 307
Deaths Jun 1858
Morris Ann Weobly 6a 323
Deaths Dec 1858
Morris Ann Maria Weobly 6a 367
Would anyone going to the Herefordshire Records Office care to see if the Kinnersley death books contain her date of death/burial? I would go myself, but I live abroad, so I guess ordering the death cert is the only alternative... :-[
Thank you!

Just to make you aware -the Herefordshire Record Office is moving at the moment and it may not be open until next year https://www.herefordshire.gov.uk/leisure-and-culture/local-history-and-heritage/archives-enquiries

Hello fellow rootschatters, here's a go to see if I can revive this thread and hopefully find an answer to the above query.
Does anyone know if the staff at the Hereford Records Office accept look-up requests by e-mail, and/or if this is subject to a fee, or do we have to wait until they re-open to do the research ourselves?
I know Hereford Records Office may reopen again in summer, but I would like to know if the parish records for Kinnersley are kept in the archives so I can figure out which of the above possibilities is my Ann Morris, and order the right certificate. ???
Thanks!

Why not email them to find out what they can do, as they say
' The Record office is still open to telephone, postal and email enquiries from the public for local, family and house history, as well as academic research purposes.'

Thanks Chempat, just wrote them an e-mail.
Fingers crossed!

Just to close off the topic - the certificate arrived a few weeks ago, mystery solved. I have found the right Ann Morris! Thanks!
