Title: Wilson and Skinner in Banffshire
Post by: Jwpines on Wednesday 02 April 14 17:07 BST (UK)
Hi All,

My second cousin, Dorothy Graham, (aka Yukongal) has done much research on our family genealogy (you will find some older posts from her in this forum) and hit a brick wall with William Wilson (b. abt. 1745) m. Jean Skinner (b. abt. 1755), even after taking a trip to Scotland about 10 years ago.

This is what we have now, http://www.wikitree.com/genealogy/Wilson-Descendants-17827

I took on the job of putting the research online.

You'll note there are also quite a few Scottish branches that have not been traced out, though the Canadian branch is very well documented.

I thought I'd see if anything new has become available, since I have recently made headway on other branches due to regional histories being scanned by Google books. This Jean Skinner is a potential candidate,
