Suz, I think I have most of the public records? It's not a common name. Was just wondering if anyone else was related that May have any first hand info?

I don't have any Rainsford's in my tree, but am involved with a couple of Duffield based Rainsford's in my research on  a war memorial - happy to share any information I have.

Hello I have a Mary Ann Rainsford of Duffield who married my GG Grandfather on the 20th Feb 1883.My th grandfather was Alvin S Smedley and together they had Ten children.They lived at Wirksworth.Hope this helps.

 I have:
Harriet Rainsford, married Samuel Allen, and was the mother of (amongst others) Joseph Allen. 
Susan Rainsford, who married Samuel Ford
Joseph Allen and Samuel Ford are the names I'm researching from the memorial, All from duffield, presumably part of the same family :)
