Duke Street Premises no longer suitable therefore possible relocation. Have your say on where they will be kept in the following consultation survey. Personally I hope they stay in Chester as I often visit the town whereas I would never have any reason to visit the other locations.

Oohhhh! If it moved to Winsford, I'd be going back to school ;D ;D I lived in Little Budworth, and went to Verdin Grammar School back in the 1950's. I wonder whether they've managed to keep the whole of the High Street free from roadworks at any one time. For the 6 years I attended the school I can never remember the street being free from "holes"!!
However, I do hope that they don't move the Archives there, or any of the other venues outside Chester.
Unfortunately my research doesn't take me back to Cheshire, otherwise I would certainly be joining in the consultation survey.
Good luck!

Done as I visit probably 6 times a year

I used to visit a lot but find it a bit far to drive now, so I filled in the questionnaire and said I'd be happier with Crewe, Winsford or Midldewich, any of which would be nearer, claytonbradley

Looks like a fantastic resource.

I have used these resources and found them to be excellent and very helpful and being in Chester very easy to get to as not too far to travel for me - it would be a shame if they were moved out of the city.
