Post by: oldhippy on Monday 14 April 14 16:51 BST (UK)
I'm looking for the death of Edward Charles Taylor. He was born in 1910 Swanage and I believe he died in Swanage. He married Emily Lavinia Frances Gird. Sorry no date. His parents were  Alfred Henry Taylor, mother maiden name was Edith Mary Horlock.

Many thanks.

For some reason I can't find him. I have found all his other brothers and the one sister. I've looked on free BMD, I have a monthly membership with Ancestry and I can't find him there.

You could be right. I spoke to my sister last night, she thinks he died in Surrey. I'll have to have another look.

Thanks for all your help.

You are going to need to some more definite facts to pursue this.
For example, if you have his birth cert, and his dob is 21 March, then that Surrey one looks likely. So that might be the next step, to get his birth cert.

You could send for that death cert,  but it might not confirm if it is your one or not, after all his wife has already died so she wont be the informant to give you a clue. Did he have children who may have registered the death, and thus help?
