Back to the original post, there is a Pomfret family living "in" Oxford Road.

Yes, Dorothy may have only been with the Greens for the night of the  census.

Thanks to all who have replied to this subject and my apologies for not replying earlier.
My uncle, the one person that I know may have probably answered any questions better, died last month and is not yet buried and events have overtaken me. There is certainly a puzzle here that I would like to solve but I am presently a bit swamped with more pressing matters.

Could be Henry George Pomfret (13) scholar, son of head Joseph William and Emma living at 1 Augusta Place, Oxford Road, Windsor in 1911
Eight other siblings aged 16 - 1, including Ethel and Edieth (6 & 5 respectively) but no mention of Dorothy. Could she be a twin?

Hi, I posted before about my grandmother Dorothy Pomfret, she was Dorothy Hatt, married Albert Pomfret, 3 children Ian, Claire & Timothy, Albert was a painter and decorator but the Pomfret family in Windsor were greengrocers. If you Google Pomfret family Windsor floods, there is a old black and white picture of the floods with some men in a boat, the man standing up is Bill Pomfret who was Albert Pomfret uncle..
