Title: William Pickett - Born Buckinghamshire or London??

I have the marriage of William Pickett to Ellen Fox 15 Dec 1862 Marylebone.
His father was George Pickett.  Both were grooms.

I have found William 34 and Ellen 39 on the 1871 census (RG10/21/65/26) living in Paddington. 
This census states that he was born in Bucks.  His occupation Ostler.

I also have him age 12 on the 1851 census in Marylebone (HO107/1489/256/46)  with father George 38 & mother Ann  37.  His father described as stable man.  On this census, his father is from Buckinghamshire, but William is from London.  As are his siblings.

I can find him on the baptisms of his children in Marylebone, but nowhere else.
Where was his born?

Any help appreciated.   ???

Prickett i have seen in Bucks on my tree but not pickett.

Do you have Georges M/C if post Sept 1837? Or a Childs Birth Cert to establish Anns maiden name?
William may have been born before the Marriage.

Did George Snr remarry?
1881 Census has a George Pickett c 1814 born Hedgely, Buckinghamshire in St Marylebone, Horsekeeper.
F/S has a George PICKET, Christened there 1 Feb 1881 to WILLIAM/HANNAH

Interesting - there were marriage banns for a George Picket and Sarah Ann Brookery listed as widower and widow on 16 May 1879 at St Marylebone Christ Church, but I can't see a marriage

I can't see any of the family in 1861 including their possible youngest daughter Susan b 1851-52 who is living with her brother William in 1871

Edit - I wonder if his is George and wife Ann in 1861?  Both listed as born England? Living at 9 Horace St Marylebone

I assume William found on Family Search was the George found on FreeBMD.  It certainly looks likely.  I don't know whether George remarried yet....not got that far!!
