I would be most grateful if someone could look up the marriage of Richard Overfield to Ann ? that occurred in Willey near Bridgnorth in 1823- I believe before September of that year. Would love to know Ann's maiden name  :)

Both signed with X
Witnesses: George Price and Thos. Molyneux.

Thanks so much! That was fast! :)
Didn't realise he was a widower even though he was 36 when he married. Richard had to marry Ann because she became pregnant but he killed the child in late 1823 and was hung in 1824.
Wonder who the first wife was?

Richard Overfield marr. Pheaby Andrews 8 Feb 1807 St Mary Magdalene Bridgenorth.

That looks very likely as there are no other Richard Overfields who were old enough to marry (it's a remarkably unusual name in Shropshire) Thanks again-It's my lucky night ;D
