Title: Abattoir, Ipplepen, Devon
Post by: littlefacey on Wednesday 30 April 14 20:46 BST (UK)
Wondering if anyone could help?

Im looking into an apparent murder in Ipplepen. Thing is i dont have any dates or names  :-\

I have heard that a husband once murdered his wife and was hanged for this crime. They lived at number 5 North Street which apparently was once an abattoir.

I have tried googling different terms but have had no luck. Did think about looking through newspaper records but without a date i could be a while!

Is this anything to do with it?

Sorry i completley forgot about this post until just now when me and mum were talking about again and i decided to google.

Sadly the above link doesnt have anything to do with it. My mum was always told that a man supposably killed his wife?
