Title: Currochreen, Crieff
Post by: Evelina on Thursday 01 May 14 18:22 BST (UK)
Hi I am looking for old pictures of Currochreen, just outside Crieff.  May be spelt Currachreen.  My grandfather was born here in 1900, his father's occupation was Gardener.

Found the place on Old-maps and its next to a Nursery so guess he worked there.  Its on the road to Methven before Callums Hill.  Its not on todays maps.

Anyone know of this place, any info would be welcome.  Thanks Evelina

Hi Evelina ,

Currochcreen , http://maps.nls.uk/geo/explore/

If you enter Crieff in the search box , then select the 6 inch 1892 - 1905 map.

Not having any luck online with pictures  :(

There's a Donald McOmish , nurseryman , Currochreen in 1890.
