Hello there,

Would anyone be kind enough to look up a baptism for me in Westmorland? I am looking to find the parentage of William GARNETT, who was born circa 1787 in Old Hutton.

I can find two that maybe of interest, not in Old Hutton but abt. 5-6 miles away,

William Garnett bp. 27 August 1786 Heversham, Westmoreland, parents: William and Eleanor. (born: 1 August 1786 )

William Garnett bp. 10 May 1783   Kirkby-Lonsdale, parents: Edward and Agnes.

Thanks very much, Claire. I think the best match is the Heversham birth, as Heversham was where this chap was married. I'll follow that lead and see what's found.
