Elizabeth was my grgrgrgrandmother father Robert and mother Christian Gordon she married John McKenzie she appears on electoral roll 1891 as staying at 19 College Bounds Aberdeen, her daughter Mary married Thomas Frater and their daughter Alice married John Cruickshank on 12 July 1921. Any info re Terrel, Mary McKenzie or Alice would be appreciated,

Christian Gordon, married Robert Terrol, 5/March/1822. Rayne, Aberdeen.
Their Daughter Elizabeth Terrol, was born 28/June/1823. at Rayne, Aberdeen.
If you follow the census records, on most of them up to 1881, Elizabeth Terrol McKenzie, always states her place of birth is Rayne, Aberdeen.
The big problem you have is daughter Mary McKenzies, marriage to Thomas Frater. 1891. you state on another post that Mary McKenzie, was 24 years of age on her marriage in 1891. The only daughter of John McKenzie, and Elisabeth Terrol, named Mary McKenzie, was born 1851.
Which would have made Mary, aged almost 40 years on her wedding day.
However its possible Mary,was a inconvienant with her age as she was marrying someone ie Thomas Frater, who was actually younger than her.
If you follow Mary, and Thomas, after their marriage on the census returns her age is consistent with a birth year of 1854.
Also you will have to take into consideration the variations of the surname Terrol, lots of variants ie Tyrrel, etc.
