trying to find where a Sister Mary Eucharia Carroll was educated in Dublin
Mary of Patrick and Mary Marmion born 28 April 1903 died 1978 lived in Gloucester St on the north side of Dublin
she emigrated to America 1922 age 19 living in Tipton Indiana in the convent of St Joseph order where she studies to become a nun
She was a teacher also a nun in the Indiana universities a number of education degrees as well.Is the any institutions in the years who educated these looking for training colleges

Her parents were married in Castleknock area of Chapelizod in 1893.
I know there is a Knockmaroon or Glenmaroon Convent in that area.

in 1911 census the is a Mary Carroll scholar age 10 its either a workhouse or a convent schoolMount Prospect Avenue Clontarf

It was previously Mount Prospect House. I think it is a retirement home for older nuns now.
I have a book somewhere might have some info of the history of the place - will have a look and let you know.

I think the first teacher training college for Catholic women in Dublin was Our Lady of Mercy, Baggot Street.
Later, it was Mercy convent, Carysfort Ave, Blackrock, but I don't know when the change happened.

I'm a little confused by the question, if I'm reading correctly she was 19 when she joined the convent in America so wouldn't she have received her teacher training there.
She may have got her early schooling in the Central Model School which is near Gloucester/ Sean McDermott Street.

Wonder did Agnes Marmion give up her vocation,there appears to be only one Agnes Marmion on the 1901/1911 census.
There is a marriage in Dublin North July Sep 1924 for an Agnes Marmion.

There was a school run by the nuns in Clontarf Dublin 1911 census Mary Carroll a pupil age 10.I was given the name if a nun in Dublin of the sisters of Charity I have sent a letter and it seems promising
