Title: Richard & Sarah Griffiths of Haverford West

I am trying to find out about Richard & Sarah Griffiths of Haverford West who had four sons, one of which Alfred, migrated to Australia in early 1900's. Alfred worked with horses.

Sarah A wife age 37 Cliff at ?? Kent
Henry J son age 11 rest born Haverfordwest
Annie dau age 9
Alfred son age 8
Jesse son age 6
Clara dau age 4
Ethelbert son age 2

If it is the correct family Ethelbert married Muriel K Morgan 1925 Haverfordwest he died Jan 1962 age 62 probate April 1962 of the post office Prendergast Haverfordwest. to Muriel Kathleen Griffith widow and David Griffiths sub post master effects 6 thousand five hundred and seventy six pounds 13 shillings and fourpence.

Alfred was a groom 1911 and Sarah a widow with another daughter

Thank you for your help. You most definitely have the right family. We know that Richard was hurt in a cart accident - not sure if it was fatal but it could have been he died from injuries caused in the incident. We also know that his brother Jesse also emigrated to Melbourne Australia. That Alfred served in Australian forces in WW1 but three brothers served for England and that all survived. We know nothing else about the remaining siblings. We would like to know about any further ancestors like great grandparents if anyone has any information.

My husbands /our four sons are from Richard and Sarah - all the info is absolutely fantastic - so hard to do it from OZ - I guess you are getting this info from the census since it is every four years. Just leaves us wanting to know more about their lives. Births Deaths, marriage, health, occupations etc.

Just curious how your sons are related to Richard & Sarah Griffiths? They were my Grandparents, My Da was Alfred Griffiths!
My daughter & myself have just been to Haverfordwest, looking for the Three Crowns in Hill street! Hotel is Now called Pembroke Arms!
I am Roma Griffiths my brother Dr Peter Griffiths. Da was previously married with a son, but sadly his first wife died! (*)
