Title: Henrietta Davies, Moreton
Post by: Sallyann17 on Friday 20 June 14 08:17 BST (UK)
Hello, I am trying to get some information on Miss  heneretta or henrietta, or Hetty Davies. She lived at 'Walden' borrowdale road, moreton in 1931. She ran a shop, but that is all I know, I know it is a long shot, but is there anyone local who may be able to help me?   :D

Is she the person mentioned in your other posts?  Sister to Florence? (Thats something you know about her!) Did you follow up the possibility that her and Florences father might be David?

Yes, I may have found Florence, but I am just looking for proof that the Florence I have found is the right one, they were diapers, I don't remember mum ever saying Florence could sew, but then mum was a great clothes maker, so she must have learned it somewhere, I just wondered whether Hetty's shop was a drapery!

Yes, I did, and that's the one I am working on. I am just trying to get some further proof that they are the right ones, I don't want to get it wrong again!
