Hello from Australia,
Is there any kind person who would be able to look up a birth in 1910 - 1911??

Looking for JAMES HARRY SMITH aged 21 years when he got married to MARY JEYES/JAYES in Dec 1932.  His father is listed as GEORGE SMITH, dec'd, Watchman

The only information included in the births index is name, district and page,
(and for births after about 1910, mother's maiden/former name).

There is no way to get parental info other than order a certificate. Do you know where he is likely to have been born?

How great of you to reply to my email!!

All I know is the marriage is in Pendleton, Lancaster. And he is shown as being 21years of age, bachelor, Cutter, living at 61 Florence Street Pendleton.

His father is shown as being deceased and a Watchman.

I am also looking to see if he has died but the only James Harry Smith I can find is shown in July-Sept 1982 but the birth date is given as 23/05/1893.  The death is shown at Hitchin.

I dont know where to turn......it is quite important that I find more information as I need to trace him..or his death....due to a family health problem.
