Hi again,

Beckey... these Dicksons are my ancestors!!!  The Skaithmuir Dicksons that is... they immigrated to Canada.... I don't know how they got there from here... I just know they ended up on the 1851 Census, and possibly on the 1842 one, which hasn't been proofread yet, so it's not a certainty.  Can you share any more information on them?  I've tried so hard to find a ship list and family of theirs but I can't.  I do know that Cathrine's maiden name was Warden.  Any information you could share with me would be greatly appreciated.

Dicksons in Coldstream, 1841.

Hi Becky.... The Dickson list you posted is my ancestors... James, Cathrine...etc.  They ended up settling in Canada.  They are definitley on the 1851 Census and possibly on the 1842 census which hasn't been proofread yet to be 100% certain of it.  Can you share any more information on them.  I've tried so hard to find them on a shipping list to know avail.. to determine their arrival date.  Do you have any thing else you can share?  Thanks ever so much.

I have some details of Dicksons interred at lennel. Though they are much later than the Dicksons you are looking at.

They are 1912 Coldstream
Robert Dickson retired farm Steward
Robert died at Coldstream cottage hospital 25th march 1912.
from heart failure. he was usually living at 125 High St. Coldstream
His arents were Robert Dickson & Jemmima Richardson
Wife Elizabeth Small 15th April 1909
daughter Ann 23rd December 1940

nearby there is a George Dickson who died 20th october 1903 age 73
and his wife Helen Matthew who died 12th Aril 1929 age ?

Hope this is of some use or interest to you?
