I have this family in 1901 census but there is no sign of them in the 1881 or 1891 census, perhaps someone else can find them for me.
Address in 1901 6 Hampden Street, Walton On The Hill Liverpool.
All have the surname Lea
John H b 1849 Journeyman Joiner, head
Elizabeth Ann b 1850 wife
William b 1878 journeyman baker son
Emma A b 1874
Amelia b 1875
Louisa b 1877
All except his wife was born in Liverpool
I have search for them but have had no luck.

John is not down as grandson but as there is a gap of 13 years between him and William I just wondered. Unmarried Amelia stays with her parents and John.

Thank you so much I am doing this for a friend she is also my sons carer, my son is 33 and has learning difficulties, she is a wonderful woman and she will be so excited when she brings him home tonight and I can tell her all that has been found out about her ancestors.

but - who is Emma E Lea daughter aged 5 ...they married in 1869 - both Full Age ...so when Emma E Lea is born they are 18 /19 ...so it looks like one of them - couldn`t sign for the marriage because their parents wouldn`t allow it ....I will look for Emma`s baptism
added again ...Emma Elizabeth Lea is born dec qtr 1870 West Derby ,Liverpool - maybe this is her ...I wonder if that record should read 5 months and not 5 ??

pretty certain this is them Heather - but Emma E Lea is 5 ....John and Elizabeth Ann married in 1869 ...I think that should read 5 months - and not 5 for Emma ...

Like you, I think that it should be 5 months but just says 5 on the sheet. She was 10 in 1881 ;D
