Hi Folks
Any suggestions on how to get a search on the 1911 census for Brodron, Hampshire. I think the 32nd Brigade of the Royal Field Artillery were based there then. I'm looking to see if Gunner Robert Allan, born 1885 in Aberdeen, was there on the 1911 census. He is my grandfather and can't find him anywhere on the 1911 in Scotland. Just recently found out that the brigade was in Brodron then. He was a reserve soldier and may have been doing his yearly recall stint then. This could help sort out a long standing brick wall.
Any suggestions ?
Thanks lots

Apologies if I have broken any site rules - and thanks for the tip.

Osprey - the place your grandfather might have been based is Bordon, Hampshire not Brodon. You could see if your local library has access to Ancestry or Findmypast to do a search of 1911 census, in case he was in Hampshire at the time.

My g. uncle was in Wellington Lines, Aldershot, Farnham, Surrey in 1911 so it's possible your grandfather was in Aldershot, another army town in Hampshire.
