Title: Marriage 1941 - Whitecross to Thomson, look up at family centre please.
Post by: harr2jas on Friday 11 July 14 03:39 BST (UK)
Dear Forum,

I am seeking information on the marriage of Elizabeth Paterson WHITECROSS (born 29.07.1918) to John Alexander THOMSON, i presume from 1935 onwards. In 1942 they had a daughter. In 1982 Elizabeth died having remarried to a Mr Daly. Hope this helps. I could not locate the marriage on the following site:

http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/ , the index is free to search.

Regards Jason, Australia

Hi Jason ,

Looks like the marriage was 1941 in Midlothian , you wont be able to view details of the marriage online as restrictions apply(75 years for marriage).

Perhaps someone going to one of the family centres would be willing to look up the details for you ?

Think Elizabeth remarried in 1953 Midlothian - Daly / Whitecross or Thomson.
