Hello

Very sorry about the volume of posts, been a busy day for research and I am close to completion

My ancestor Thomas Steele, born 1821 in Stapleton, Cumberland to parents Joseph and Ann can be found living in Fletchertown, Wigton in 1891 as a widower, surviving his wives Sarah and Elizabeth.

When did he die? He is listed as Tom Steele and is aged 71 in 1891

I have always imagined this to be his death, but he is still living by 1901

Forget my previous statement, he isn't in the 1901 census after double checking, so I think that is his death in 1895

There is also this one in Wigton which ties in better with him in 1891
