Title: Adam Simpson Templeton Obituary?

Hello,
I am trying to find the date of death for my Great Grandfather Adam Simpson Templeton.  He was born on the 10th of December 1892 in Galashiels, Scotland.  Sadly he passed away in Weston, Toronto, Ontario whilst on holiday visiting my family.  I checked on the Canadian forum but there were no newspaper listings.  I was hoping there may have been in Galashiels.  It was anywhere between 1951 and 1958.  I know he was buried in Eastlands Cemetery in Galashiels.  If anyone can help I'd be very appreciative.

Have you considered making enquiries directly with the Scottish Borders Council www.scotborders.gov.uk/info/648/death-funerals_and_cremations/724/cemeteries

Their records may include death date or at the very least, a burial date. This would let you focus in more closely on any newspaper death notices hopefully.

the only Templeton in Eastlands Cemetery is Dennis A.S. Templeton (presumably  his son) who died 7-9-2000 aged 54yrs and wife Gwen S. Green .

Borderlass, why do you think that Adam Simpson Templeton was buried at Eastlands Cemetery in the 1950s? Is there some family info source for this?
