Title: Marriage - William Simpson and Catherine Barry
Post by: margill68 on Sunday 03 August 14 01:41 BST (UK)
The only information I have for this marriage is from an Australian Newspaper which has their marriage as 28 February 1841 at Bullevant, Cork Ireland .  William Simpson was with the British Army and Catherine Barry's Australian death certificate has her father as David Barry, farmer, mother unknown.  I have no idea which parish it may have been.  It is a long shot.

A search of the RootsIreland website index also brings back an 1844 church baptism for a David Simpson, for given parents William Simpson and Cath Barry, in Buttevant RC parish. Record content is pay to view.
