Could someone please help me out by using one credit on Scotlands People to find out the surname of Margaret who married Robert Wood in 1881 in St Boswell.

Hi Douglas,
I'm often in this situation and there are two things you can do, one is use iteration in the female surname/forename box, laborious but it works.
The first thing to do though is use the power of google. I searched for- "Robert Wood" in 1881 in St Boswells and found this link was top of the page: http://genforum.genealogy.com/quarry/messages/114.html I therefore took the name Margaret Quarry, put it into Scotland's People and it's a match.
Hope this helps,
Emma
P.S. I don't have any credits either.

A big Thank-you to Emma & EV. I don't know why I didn't think of Google this time. Also, I use FamilySearch regularly but didn't think of it.
Cheers
