I'm not sure which maps to order for:
1893- South Leith, Edinburgh
1865-Kinghorn, Fife
1923-Douglaswater, Carmichael, Lanark
1893-Stoneyburn,Crawford, Lanarkshire
1893-Motherwell,Dalziel,Lanark
1859-Lettershaws, Crawfordjohn,Lanark

Have you tried looking at these OS maps online at the National Library of Scotland:

It will depend on what scale you want. There are old OS maps at one inch to the mile, six inches to the mile, and twenty-five inches to the mile.

The best thing to do is to go to the online map collection at the National Library of Scotland and have a really good rake about. You will be able to find out which sheets cover the areas you are interested in at which scale and in which years. http://maps.nls.uk/index.html
